ELECTRONIC REGIONAL TEST LABORATORY (WEST)

INTRODUCTION

Electronics Regional Test Laboratory (West), Mumbai, ERTL (W), Was set-up under Standardization, Testing & Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate, Ministry of Information Technology, Govt. of India, in 1985 as one of the prime national institute to satisfy the needs of Indian industries for the purpose of Test, Calibration, Training & Quality Improvement services. The laboratory presently situated at MIDC Industrial area, Andheri (E),Mumbai is equipped with sophisticated instruments and supported by a group of dedicated, professionally qualified & trained scientists / engineers.

The laboratory has built-in quality system in line with ISO / IEC-17025 & NABL-101. It has received a number of recognition, both national and international under various accreditation schemes.

The laboratory services have enable customers to improve their product quality and reliability & to enhance their domestic and export market share. Client range varies from typical small- scale industries to multinationals. Though, primary objective of the laboratory is to serve industries from western region, units from all over the country have been availing of specialized services of the laboratory. The transparent working system of the laboratory has made it possible for the industries to have simpler, quicker & effective interaction.
