| Ebm-NADI
is a joint venture Company formed in January ‘96 jointly with the
world leader in fans M/s. Ebm Werke Gmbh
& Co., Germany and Nadi Airtechnics
of Chennai, the pioneers in fan industry in India.
Nadi was first started 1955 dealing with agricultural pump sets,
diesel generating sets and diesel engines etc.
1972 the company diversified into manufacturing of industrial
fans and then grew to go into a joint venture in 1996 with Ebm Germany.
Today Ebm-Nadi is the only company in India offering a wide range
of fans and blowers.
The range encompass many different types from axial, centrifugal
fans, blowers and a complete series of Compact Fans.
Our products are used in various fields and industries ranging
from computer industry, telecommunication, Marine communication &
Naval equipment’s, UPS systems, Nuclear and Thermal power stations
etc.
The use of these fans in Refrigeration and air-conditioning
systems is worth mentioning.
Centrifugal
Fans:
Centrifugal
fans as the name goes the main purpose of this fan is to suck air from
the center of the fan and sends the air through a channel to its outlet.
Centrifugal fans are available with or without scrolls.
A scroll is a housing in which the fan is placed it is available
in three options.
Aluminum diecast alloy or with galvanized sheet steel or with
high resistant plastic.
There are two types of centrifugal fans available they are
a.
Forward Curve
b.
Backward
Curve
a.
Forward curve fan:
These fans are available into two different types that are the
single inlet as well as double inlet.
The forward curve impellers ( the blades of the fan ) are of
galvanized sheet steel and press fitted directly on the rotor of the
external mounted directly on to the side wall of the scroll housing.
Manufacturing of a forward curve fan need modern technical skills
with the help from hi-tech manufacturing equipment’s.
The forward curve fans are available from air volume of 54 m3/hr
to 3000 m3/hr in various sizes, with various volts of 230V as well as
400 V.
b.
Backward Curve:
the main feature of backward curve centrifugal impellers are the
extremely long, backward curved blades are less sensitive to dust and
dirt. They offer very good
hydraulic efficiency the primary advantage of a backward curve is
sucking operation of the fan. This
advantage are very productive used in range hoods, computers and
computer peripherals, duct fans, roof ventilators, etc.
The backward curve centrifugal fans are available from are volume
of 265 m3/h to 2800 m3/hr. all
these fans are available with 230V single phase operations.
